I've been topping off with kalk via my Tune osmolator to supplement my Ca reactor. My tank is SPS dominant and I like to keep my levels elevated (Ca-450 ppm, Alk-11dKH, Mg-1450).

I have to regularly dose Mag flake to keep Mg up. Since there should be little-to-no Mg in RO water, would it be okay to add the liquid Mg along with the kalk? Wouldn't the Mg aid in balancing the Ca and Alk?

The Mg would precipitate out as magnesium hydroxide due to the high pH of the mixture, so I don't think that'll work.

I add EVS mg directly into the tank every three days to keep a value of 1350 – 1400. I also drip Kalk to supplement my Ca Reactor.

Try adding 5-10% by volume of dolomite to your Ca reactor. http://www.aquariumspecialty.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=37_163&products_id=885
