View Full Version : Decided to do a cold water reef and need some help

I have decided it is time for a new challenge for me and i have decided to do a cold water reef tank. I currently have a 150G tank that has been running for over a year. I only have some reef safe fish in it. Of course i will sell off all my fish first. But once i do that can i throw in a chiller or will i have to throw in the chiller and re cycle the tank again? I used to talk to someone on this forum about his cold water reef but it was so long ago i don't remember who he was. I hope he is still a member of this site and if he can help me that will be great. Dose anyone else know about doing a cold water reef tank? What kind of chiller will you recommend for a 150G? Any info or insights will be helpful.
