I have a 37 inch PFO acrolight with 2 x 150 watt HQI and 2 x 95 watt VHO. I plan on having mostly SPS and clams in the center of the tank and softies and LPS on the fringes. I have a lot in to this light and want to upgrade. Is this enough light ????

i think it'll be enough if you put it up high, but not 100% sure. the ones i have seem mostly are 2x250watt +VHOs. myself was going to run 2x400watt on my 4x2x2 tank.

I have a 48" X 18" X 24" so the same as your 120 but only 18" wide. I have 2 150 Reeflux 10k's and 4 110 VHO's and have mostly sps. I have many of the exotics (PM, PL, Lime, Sunset, Superman....) My corals look very nice. However, i do feel if i had 250's i would have better color and much better growth. HTH

I think 250 watters are your best bet. I'm setting up the same size tank and ended up going with 250w halides. Now the only problem is choosing bulbs.

I have the aqualight pro w/the 2 250 hqi's w/2 96w atinics. I keep my SPS's middle to high & they are growing quickly & have great color.

I agree with above that 250watt MH's would be better. Thats what I have on my 120 and any less than that wouldn't cut it.

You can keep ANY sps you want under 150's, if your tank is clean enough.

That's true, But I can say, IME, I just switched from 175's to 400's over my 120 and the increase in growth and color is immediate, I'd go with 250's or 400s.

Good Luck!
