I got this brain in a swap with a lfs owner. I am wondering if anyone can nail down an ID and maybe point me into some good advice on feeding and proper care.

these pictures were taken during the whole day today, some with flash some without. It is the first full day it has been in the tank.

Looks like a Trachyphyllia to me. It likes the sandbed, just where you have it. No need to do much else, it will filter feed and convert light to food by photosynthesis.

Thats a great looking piece. I had one and an angel took a bite out of it. Had the angel for 2 years in the tank with coral and never touched anything put that in there and 3 days later it was dinner.
