ID Please

I have been running my tank for three weeks now, I have found lots of different life forms including a mantis shrimp which my partner has just caught and removed :) she has just sent me this pic of what looks like an egg, can anyone id this please

Kinda hard to tell becasue of it's size, but I think it is just a sponge.

It could be a cyst containing bubble algae--if it erupts you are going to have major bubble algae---I would remove it unless you like the story of the trojan horse.

My guess is a sponge also.

i would say a sponge to, nothing to worry about. they usually grow on the underside of rocks, i have tons of them in my tank, bubble alge is a green bubble which is very bad if they pop
