What are the best corals for my current lighting configuration?... I currently run 2x 12,000K daylight pc's and 2x actinics on 55 gal. Currently only houses a couple clowns, a rbta, a few green star polyps and some muchrooms. I have a lot of LR space to fill up:)

Gotta tell more than the kelvin- what's the wattage? There's a wide variety that can thrive in many lighting schemes but posting the wattage will be more helpful. Whatcha' got?

Also, whats the distance between the top of the water and the lights. And how deep your tank is too will help.
The more light-needy corals might need to be put up top.
We're going to assume you have good surface Agitation and a decent skimmer to remove the floaties.

Ok, 260watts, lights are about 6" off the surface of the water, I am running a skimmer in the sump. Good surface agitation. Running a quiet one 6000!! Works wonderful!! There is about 60-70 pounds of LR. Could easily add two more pc's (have an extra fixture laying around.)

I have a 223gal. tank in the garage. I will be setting it up in the next 6 to 8 months. Then I will spend the money on lighting upgrades and so forth. Want to be able to have anything in there. Just doing the best with what I've got for now.
