what kind of insump skimmer would anyone suggest that would fit in a 20long sump. going to be used a 65 gallon tank and a 20long is about as big a sump that i can fit in my stand. links to skimmers would be great. thanks!!

I have 2 skimmers for sale that are almost brand new. One is the smallest high performance high quality recirculating skimmer made for small tanks and the other is a practically no maintenance skimmer. Looks at used equipment forum for my postings.

I think the better way to go about it is to figure out which return pump your going to run, get that set in there and measure the baffles, then see how much room you have left. I'm running a standard 20 on my 125 right now with a sedra 7000 for a return and still had just enough room for an 8" diameter euro-reef skimmer.

But if we don't know what else your putting in the sump it's hard to make an educated decision:) A lot of skimmers will fit in that size sump until you start putting other things like the return pump in it:D

an aquaeuro classic 135/250 or recirc 135 would work well on that sized tank, as would an octopus nw150 or nw200 or a smaller recirc (depending on height under your stand)
if you have the cash a tunze 9010 would be awesome, and it is very small (only a 5x5 footprint) can't beat the skimming for the size and price.
