ya i found that out in my reek so i moved him into a more preditory tank but wanted to add a bubble tip for my tomato clown but did not want to come down the next morning to see the star fish eating him

I had a Chocolate Star and he was fine for a while but then one day he went to town on my mushrooms.

I have had a CC star for nine months and never bothered anything, but then all of a sudden he tried eating my clove polyps and my zoas. I doubt he would touch a BTA, the BTA could easly sting it.

yaa i am thinking he would sting it but the wat this star devoward my mushrooms whiped out a whole colony over night and that was after 6 months of not bothering them at all.But he is a good cleaner

Should be fine, but Tube anems. are known to catch small fish.

Throw him in your Sump. He will eat anything( besides anemone's) that he can reach. We have one in our Sump and he has survived it in the Sump for a LONG time. It will get rid of all the detritus in the Sump. Very useful......

But i don't think you'll have a problem with the tube anemone. I could look into it though.....

If you have any corals or plans to get them, then get rid of the CC star. That's your best bet, as it will probably starve in the fuge.

05/19/2007, 09:33 PM
he was in my fuge for a long time eating over macro along with the tube anemone was wanting to add them both to the new tank.no corals already have a reef tank this a more fish only
except for a few anemones.to spread out along the tonga rock.would also like to add a racoon buterfly and eventually when i move up to a 125 i want to add a nice angel and a blond naso tang.Have a tomato clown and a valante puffer thats it so far.

Put him in the Sump.......
