I have a quarantine tank set up with a citron goby and tomato clown in it. The goby has been in the tank for a week, and I noticed him flicking on a rock a little bit ago. I've tried to look him over and I don't see any signs of Ich or other disease. Do I need to treat the tank, or could this be normal behavior for a citron goby?

sounds like a problem fish usually scratch when they are diseased. Good think they are in the qt. either medicate or wait a few weeks it may go away by itself.

Live and learn. I QT all of my fish now after having a new fish cause a disease outbreak that wiped out my tank. That was a sad and expensive lesson.
