Is it ok to put 2 different frogspawn specimens together?? I purchased one (2 heads) about 2 months ago (one head when I bought it) and I purchased the other (5 heads) about a week ago. I was thinking of bonding them together to make one big specimen.

They would be fine bonded together if that is what you want to do.

you don't think they'll sting eachother??

No, they will not sting each other. If they are both frogspawn, then they are in the same genus and the same species; they just have some slight genetic differences making them different colors.

ok thank you very much. I'll do that. They are basically the same color too.

Post a pic if you can. I wouldn't mind seeing how your project turns out!

I'll do that. I'm getting ready to transfer everything into a 46 bowfront with cls (reeflow 2400 gph pump), coast to coast overflow with mag5 return and CSS 125 for skimmer.

You can put 2 of the 3 euphyllias together---frog and hammer/anchor. Torch is the hot one, and leave it by itself.

I did the same thing with a fox that was gappy: I broke it in half and glued its waves together: the coral had been fading and had trouble feeding: since being joined side by side it has become much more vigorous and feeds well.
