I wanted to know if there is any use for crushed coral in saltwater tank?
I bought a used tank and some crushed coral came with it. I will be making a sump so is ther any use for them in there?

If you have a choice, get rid of the crushed coral. Ive been using it in my 65 gallon for the last year. It requires a vaccum with every water change since it traps lots of detritus.
Go for some aragonite. Im sure you can get it from your lfs.

If you plan to keep any burrowing animals (jawfish, pistol shrimp, etc.) then you should keep a little bit of it (you could wash it in some ro/di first) to mix in with your sand. Post it somewhere before throwing it away... someone will have a use for it.
