Got a small Question though.... They don't seem to eat any frozen food, They cleaned out the Aiptasia rock though... and was picking on some of the SPS frags stuck to the rock.... Being paranoid that they are starving.... I gave them a few SPS frag to eat... Yeah!!! culturing SPS to feed fish... people gonna think I am crazy.
Any tips on what to feed and How to ween them to frozen food....

I have the same problem, the golden butterfly is nice, but he is not eating anything. I try fresh clam and he only nip on it and not really eating.

SuAsati & perculaclown,
Congratulations on your new addition of the Golden Semilarvatus Butterflyfish!
At our holding facility this Butterflyfish is eating mysis shrimp. Prior to shipping each fish is observed to ensure it is eating well and has adapted to this live preparation.
When this fish is first introduced into a new environment it may be a finicky eater. In the beginning the Golden Semilarvatus Butterflyfish requires a diet of vitamin-enriched fresh clams or live foods such as brine shrimp, copepods (http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=2593&N=0), and mysis shrimp. After it is eating well you may attempt to offer herbivore preparations. This species of Butterflyfish may not adapt well to frozen food, however, if offered in a variety of foods it may eventually become accustomed to frozen food. You may also soak the frozen food in Garlic Xtreme to enhance proper feeding.

Well yesterday one started eating live brineshrimp, and today both were eating live brine shrimp but doesn't seem to like any frozen foods. I will try soaking in garlic and see what happens, but I am a little less worried since they are eating brineshrimp very well.
perculaclown, hope they do the same for you, they are such gorgeous fish.
