I have 2 of the following on a 135 SUPER 1002 VORTEX PROTEIN SKIMMER (http://www.catalinaaquarium.com/product_info.php?cPath=85&products_id=1238)
I have the CA 1800 pumps and also have a needlewheel version that didn't seem to put out as much air so I am using it for circulation. Are there tricks to make this skimmer work better, and can the impeller be made into one of those mesh modded ones? Has anyone done it? Can't search since I've got the cheapo account.
