To save the shipping cost and stress on live goods, can I pick-up Divers Den orders at your retail store?

HI, I am intrested in several of your divers den zoo colonies but they are too big for my tank. If I buy the colony, frag it in half or break a piece of rock off and split the colony to a smaller size, say 2 smaller pieces vs. one big one.... does the 14 day warranty still apply? Thanks

We apologize, however, we only recommend propagating a coral after it is fully acclimated and adjusted to the aquarium and it’s new environment. This adjustment period would be outside of our normal guarantee, as this may at times exceed 30 days. Perhaps a reef society or a local pet store would trade or buy frags.
Polyps live as colonies and are typically joined together by a common fleshy base. These can be easily propagated providing the water quality is in excellent condition, and the specimen being propagated must be healthy and show no signs of illness or stress.

Hello,
Thanks for your replies. I am interested in several zoo colonies in your divers den, but it has been my experience in this hobby that items in pictures tend to look different than real life...sometimes better, sometimes worse. Since I will be picking these divers den items up in the retail store, do I have the option of returning the item immediately (or not purchasing) if I get to the store and the item does not look as I expected it would? I realize your pictures online are detailed but this would make the difference in where I order my corals.

Yes, you do have the option of returning the items immediately. We pride ourselves in offering accurate descriptions and pictures of the Diver’s Den items, we do not feel this will be an issue when you purchase off our site for pick up at our Retail Store. However this option is available.

Thanks Joyce, That will make the difference between buying it locally from a LFS vs. making the trip up to Rhinelander. So, would I pay online for it, and then return in the store....or just pay at the retail store?

Yes, you would need to place the order by calling us at 1-800-334-3699 to arrange for pick up at our retail store. Once you pick up your order you may then determine if the specimen(s) are suitable for your needs.
