so im sitting there looking at my new 80 gallon and realize something wrong. So i look closer i see both cleaner shrimp side by side on the rock, and notice that the thing caught my eye was another shrimp. Im so shocked I jammed my face so close to the tank you can see fog from my nose on the glass. I realize it's a shed from one of the cleaners, i laughed thinking to myself wow they really look life like. So I feel real stupid know feel free to laugh i thought every could use a laugh.

the first time i saw the molt off of one of my cleaners i thought he was eaten and thats all that was left of him, but now i know better. :)

When I was a noob, I bought a cleaner shrimp only to see "it" stuck on the side of a powerhead the next day. I plucked it out and threw it in the trash... imagine my surprise when I saw a live shrimp 5 days after :eek:

I have had the crap scared out the first time my coral banded shrimp molted.I was like man i thought hed last longer than that then while doing water changes there he was hanging out in his normal place.

Going on 3 years and I still have to check my cleaner when I see a molt. Happens every couple of weeks... And I still check!
