I just bought 2 gorgeous ricordia yumas and would really like some advice in keeping them. I have lots of ricordias but never yumas. Ive heard that yumas are harder to care for than ricordia floridas. Is this true?

My tank is a 29 gallon with 166 watts of PC. Here is a pic of my new find.

Like lokenlani808 said, wild ones are harder to keep. Hence, the ones that are aquacultured and so on cost more.

They don't require as much light as fl. rics. no need to feed as they get their energy from the lights. just place it under an overhang.

i think for a yuma like this, i would place it under direct lighting because of the orange coloring. awesome piece you got there!
