Hello ,
I've a friend who's got the brown jelly in his one year old sps dominated tank.
How can he treat?
He told me that he lost many sps in just one day.
Any help for him?

My frogspawn lost a head to brown jelly. I suctioned off the brown jelly using a pipette bulb to prevent it from spreading anywhere else.

Some say freshwater dip-should be enuff.
Under the faucet at normal temp.

i had it for about 2 months at one point after i set my tank up and the only way i could get rid of it was to suck all of it off all of the rock and soon as you saw it grow again then you would suction it off again. FWI i used a magnum canister filter and attached a logn hose to the suction end and of course i also used the micron filter instead of the carbon because it will catch more stuff. also iw ould do a few water changes and feed less it also helped alot i believe its a high nutrients thing, but it has to alrdy be on something a rock a piece of coral ext.

do you think and huge water change and run carbon might be helpful too?
Is it possible that high concentration of iron crittes the patogen?
