So I am looking buying new bulbs in the next week or so. I am looking at Coralvue Reflux 12,000K. I have 2 - 175W 1 - 400W MH on my 210G and 320W of T-5' attnics. I am posting this here since I am mostly SPS. Does anyone have experience with these bulbs? How do they like them? Did they see good growth with them? What about color? I am running advance M57 (175W) & M59 (400W) madnetic ballast. I am also still fairly new to reef keeping, this will be my first bulb purchase, bulbs I have came with the fixtures.

Or would you recomened a different bulb for good to great growth and to have a natural color that leans to the blue side with my attnics? TIA for helping this newbie. Tim

i have them, and will probably never use a different bulb. they are almost as blue as a 14k bulb at first, but burn in nice and white and really bring out the blue in the corals. i have SE and DE on coralvue electronic ballasts. i have used xm 10k, xm 15k, coralvue 10k reeflux, coralvue 10k, and coralvue 14k and these are by far my favorites. growth is comparable to all of the 10k bulbs i have used, but the coloration is much better - better than with the 14k and 15k bulbs i have used. i am also supplementing with t5 super actinics.

here is a cruddy fts so you can see the color

sweet pic Hobogato-

TimmyE-if you have the m59 ballast already,I would go with the xm20k unless your gonna change to an electronic or pfo hqi ballast for the reeflux 12k's.
