in planning stages of doin' some mods to my sump....
How many gallons will drain to my sump if/when power is lost to a standard AGA 120 gallon -dual overflows?
Its 1.5" from the botom of the overflow teeth to the bottom of the trim...
I figure 4'Lx2'Wx 1.5" deep =7.5gals
if its 2" deep its 10 gallons
thats if the water level is touching the botom of the trim:eek2:
My sump is 36x16x18 (inside) =44.9gals
I need to have 5" of space above the tallest baffle in the sump...?
(36x16x5=12.5 gals- plenty of room for Murphy to step in:smokin: )
aside from not knowing the height of the skimmer, the depth of that area, and the amount of water drainage from the skimmer- I think I have a plan. As long as the rest of the compartments/chambers/section dividers are less than the tallest, I should be golden.
:rolleye1:......wondering if I am missing something:confused:
