View Full Version : Pinpoint pH electrode, question - first time using it!

I have the Pinpoint pH probe to hook up to my RK2 controller. I just read, and reread the directions on how to set this thing up. I'm pretty confident about that. But it does not say whether to leave the plastic cap off when using it with the controller, or leave it on. It says to take it off to calibrate it, but nothing else. Also, the gel thats on there, should be wiped off before going in the buffer solution, right? Please forgive me if these are dumb questions.

Leave it off.And Yes clean it off.The cap is for storing the probe.If You do ever have to store the probe make sure You store it wet.
