I came home from work yesterday and it looked like my new urchin was EATING one of the corals. I immediately separated them, the coral has completely recovered. Do you think it was actually eating the coral or was it just cleaning the algae off? I'm not sure what kind of urchin it is, its black with white spines. I assumed they were herbivores, but now I'm not sure, help, anyone?

I don't know how to post a picture!!
The urchin looks like those chocolate cake balls with the coconut coating, you know, the ones that look a lot better than they taste. I forget what they're called, snowballs maybe

okay, I really don't know how to post a pic. I tried, its too big, I don't know how to make it smaller. I don't feel like messing with it anymore. I was just hoping someone could tell me if I should take the urchin out of the tank.

I had a urchin a while back and removed it because I feared it eating my corals. They also knock everything over. I would trade it in at LPS.
