I recently got a AC2 controller(used)I replaced both the ph and orp probes. My orp was VERY low.Like 200.I started adding kents poly-orp and brought it up to around 300-350.I also bought an ozone generator. It is a 50mg Red Sea.My tank is a 90 gallon corner bowfront with a 20 gallon sump.My problem is the highest I can get my orp is about 325-350.I am running it through a coralife ozone reactor and phosban reactor with carbon. Is a 50mg unit too small? It says it is for a 100 gallon system.Any suggestions?Should I get a larger unit.(haha-no pun intended)Thanks for any input.Rick

This article discusses ORP:

Generally, we don't recommend targeting a specific ORP value, since the issues behind ORP are complicated. Personally, I likely would lower the ozone rate and let the ORP sink to about where it would be without ozone.

mini, a 50 mg/hr is too small for your system.
The problem with ozone production is it can be depleted by as much as 50% depending on humidity.
So lets say you have a total of 110 gallons. 10mg/hr per 25 gallons (which most recommend) is about 45 mg/hr. Now double that due to humidity and you are close to 100 mg.hr. See what I mean.
As long as you have a controller, I would get a 100 mg/hr unit. It should do you just fine.
I would target 350mv to 390 mv for optimum water conditions. :)

Thanks alot Guys...I was afraid of that.It keeps it close to 350.But it runs all the time.Even at that I can see a huge difference in water clarity.I`ll have to get a 100mg unit as soon as I get the spare cash.Again,thanks.
