It seems Croceas are a dime a dozen lately and prices are dropping steadily, Maximas have been in very good supply, especially recently, but Squasmosas just don't seem to be available. I've found a couple sites with rather large fairly bland Squasmosas, but not much under 6". Anyone know why, is it just the demand for non blue clams is so low that aquaculture facilities aren't focusing on T. squasmosa?

I just asked the same question about hippopus at clasdirect forum. In the reply I was told that the/a major clam farms got a large grant to place the hippopus in the wild. Maybe the same is true of the squamosas.

Thanks for the heads up, if I can find another thing or two I want I will pick it up despite the price being a little high.
