Hello,

Just wanted to get a second opinion on my plan for stocking. My tank is about a month old, and I am trying to plan for long-term success.

Here is what I think I will have eventually:

Heavy Bioload
Kole Tang

Medium Bioload
Pair of Occellaris Clowns
Marine Betta

Small Bioload
Neon Goby
Diamond Goby

Does anyone see any problems with this? I really love the look of the Kole Tang, and am planning to get a small one (~2 inches) since I don't have a massive tank. Since I've read that the Kole tang is one of the least aggressive members of the tang family, do you think it would be okay with a Marine Betta?

Thanks!
Shawn

not enough tank for the Kole IMO

Mixing the Goby's may not work well either...

Not sure about the Betta either, they do not like strong currents, are finicky eaters and grow pretty darn big (11" or so) but you could actually put a mated pair in the tank if you are not going with any demanding corals (flow issues)

Man hate to pick on all your picks but the Clowns are a nice idea..

Maybe a nice mated pair of Wrasses? Single goby?

A Royal Gramma is a very good fish in that sized tank. You might want to go with a pair of clowns, too. There's room for more...like a goby and a Dottyback, like a Fridmanni.
