Clown Fish has bulged out eye

Hmm my clown fish I noticed it had a bulging left eye does anyone know what this is? If anyone seen thoes gold fishes with thoes bulged out eyes thats something like what my clown fish has. sorry dont have a picture, so I drew my own. Hope this helps

Google popeye marine fish disease. Also look in Disease Treatment in RC. This is, I believe, an abcess, a bacterial infection in the eye. It can be cured if gotten to fast, but you will have to move the fish to quarantine.

Is it to late to help the clown its had this for a long time, and what can i use to treat it if it is still treatable?

Popeye is often the result of a minor eye injury which has caused a bacterial infection. In some cases the fish's own immune system is capable of clearing up this problem (water changes and some healthy food often helps). If the condition doesn't clear up on its own Qting the fish and treating with an antibiotic may help .. a double dose of Maracyn 2 should work.

Just saw on the telly where a vet did a surgical removal on an Oscar [a vastly larger fish], which went very well. This, however, would be if you have a really generous friend who is a vet; it's pretty pricey.
