I just got my new tunze 6045 and these things are awesome. I been using Koralia 4's in my 90gal and i really don't like the flow...its a "V" shape with water only coming out the top. the nano streams is more of a stream type flow which is soooooooooooo much easier to direct the flow where you want it go. You can also place the nano stream A LOT closer to the water surface without sucking in air. The nano are about 1/3 the size of the Koralia 4's and put out more flow when you do a simple mod.

Tunze has really impressed me again.....
:D

hi there just wondering why you opted for the nano not the stream in your 90gln i had a wavebox and 2 x streams in my 120 that was great, iv just bought a 6025 nano for my 24gln nano cube jury out, might be to much flow for my zoos mushies softies will have to wait and see but i always rate tunze/deltec gear you cant beat,em

I have both too and like both. They each have their own advantages and I think the choice between the two is whether or not you need a wider flow (koralia) or more streamlined (nano).

I added 2 tunze 6045's to my 180, love em.
Price was a factor, but more than that was size.
The nano's are so small, and a modded 6045 can pump 1,100-1,200 gph on 7 watts, and dead silent.
I'm more than pleased/impressed w/ mine.

I plan to buy the 6055 whenever i can find them. I did the high flow mod to these pump so i should be getting around 1200-1400 gph. I plan to use 2x 6055 and this 6045 in this tank for flow. I might just get 2 more 6045 since it seems the 6055 won't be in stock till aug.

Also i have a wavebox in this 90 and man are the magnet hard to put on the wavebox.....
