I just purchased this light for my 33GAL flat back perfecto hex reef:

http://www.hellolights.com/475.html

It's a 144W Power Compact... 6700K 96W on one switch and Actinic/Blue on the other.

I would like to be able to do just about anything with this tank. My tank has 37# of Fiji and a DSB.

Will this be adequate for things like clams?

Thanks!

You might want to post this question in the clam forum but that lighting is definitely insufficient for any clams. Personally I would not keep any clam under anything short of MH but some people keep T. derasa under VHOs. I recommend a minimum of 150W MH and that will alow you to keep just about anything you want.
