Okay, so, I'm going to build a new stand for my 120 that will be in-wall. Here's what I roughed out real fast. They are all 2x4's with 4x4's in each corner. Do you think that I'll need a centerbrace at all? No big deal if I do... but I was thinking since it's only a 4' tank, I may not need one! LMK what you guys think!

From looking at the PDF that does not look sturdy. The top long horizontal boards don't even make contact with the 4x4 post. Maybe that is just due to the quick sketch.

Regardless I recommend you notch the 4x4 posts and use 2x6 if you don't want center braces. A 2x4 is not going to hold the weight of a 120 gal tank over 6ft. You might need double up the 2x6 and screw / glue them together like a bulkhead.

a 120 is only 4ft in length. I was going to notch the 4x4's, and yes, it was due to a quick sketch

Sorry misread that its only a 4ft tank. Most 120s are 6ft long. I'm building my 90 without center braces. I figure with 3/4" plywood on top screwed down to the 2x4s it will stiffen it up. If you look at most store stands they just use 3/4" plywood for the whole thing.

At 4 feet long, you could build it like that with no problems. Though the 4x4's are actually un-needed. S single 2x4 can hold over 10,000 pounds.
If I were you would would omit the 4x4's and put a single center support on the back to help with lateral stability. That's all I did with the stand for my 105G and it was fine.

SirSmapty, your talking about something like this, correct?
