I was just curious what everyone used to make their saltwater in? Totes, buckets, trash cans, etc.

32 gallon brute, connected to an Ro/Di system.

power head and heater in can. I add some salt, mix for a few days and use for a water change.

I use the power head as a pump with flex tubing to fill the tank, since the can is in the laundry room.

A little slow to fill, but I am in no hurry.

I have a 75g at this time. So I do 5 gallons twice a week in a 5g bucket. I just find it so easy this way.
I make up the water the day before and run a power head with a air pump on it. No heater and it is about 80 deg. from power head.

I use Home Depot 5 gallon buckets for my 75G.

Old cat litter buckets...the line at the top of the bucket is exactly 5 gallons.

I have 2 10 g tanks under the sink; one for ro/di water and the other with a powerhead for mixing saltwater. I have small pumps in each to send water directly to the sump. It only takes a few minutes to add water.

I/O salt buckets. I have both the 5g (150g mix) and the older 6 1/2g (200 mix) sizes. Also I use a 2g pail for my nanos.

i picked up a 5gal trash can and use that. I mix water up and then a few hours drain 10 gal from my tank. Add the 5 gallons and in the meantime have more mixing and then add that.

Due to the amount of water needed I use a 30 gal cheapy trash bin from walmart. In the past i've used the buckets my salt came in. IO, Coralife, and Reefcrystals.
