I was thinking about adding a sump/fuge to a 29 gallon tank I will have a 20 gallon long around so I thought why not.
Has anyone come up with a way to add a sump without buying an overflow box or putting a hole in the tank. (safely)
will some kind of J tube work if I made one out of PVC or will I be
wasting my time?
Thanks for the help.

I was gonna say it's more like a pvc "W". The links jbarone posted explains it better though
