I put two money cowrie snails in my tank last week because I think they look cool, and they do a good job of that when you can see them. http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/prod/208402/product.web
I had some Cyano on a rock in my tank from a bloom that I got under controle but hadn't cleaned up yet. the other day I noticed one of the cowrie on that rock, and a lot of the cyano was gone, and the longer he was on the rock the less of it was there.
Do you think he ate it or just knocked it off the rock? The stuff doesn't seem to be growing anymore, i guess my new fuge is doing it's job.
