High alkalinity?

I just got an alkalinity test kit & it is way to high.......what do I use to lower it.......or how do I get it to lower. thanks'

Water change will fix almost any water chemistry issue.

You should note that alk has a pretty wide range of "acceptible" .. whats your alk level?

I would agree with a Simple Water Change.....

I would guess at 20......it is at 16 when you add all drops & it took that & half again as much to get it to change colors.

Assume your talking DKH? If so - thats pretty high. I assume you have been adding alk supplements and if so a water change should be a quick fix. If you haven't added any alk supplements then you have a bogus alk reading.

What supplement are you adding and which test kit are you using?
