My clowns "false percula" are definitely acting wierd. They have decided to start hosting a brain coral. They also are shaking together by my over flow? Is this a breeding response? If not then what?

Anyone have any idea about this?

That is normal. They are trying to establish dominance and who will be female.

Thanks, I assumed that the one that is substantially larger was the female.

even though my female is twice the size of the male she still shakes at him sometimes.
that seems to be totally normal

Does this have anything to do with spawning?

nope...but it is a good sign that they're forming a pair which could potentially spawn for you.

watch the brain coral for signs of stress. my pair killed one when they tried to host it.
