Help with some small zoas please

Ok Usally I frag my zoas before they spread onto another rock but decided I wanted them to spread to another large rock. BUT now I want to frag them and put some in my pico. Can I frag them by chipping off a piece of the rock while inside the tank or must I pull the rock out and do it the usual way?

Either way would work....I would fill uncomfortable "chipping" away rock while in the tank....thats alot of water to come rushing out! heh

If I am fragging from a large rock, I usually slip an exacto knife or tweezers under an edge that I can access and peel a section of the zoas off and then attach to another rock (that way I don't have to pull the original rock out of the water, especially if it is a base rock). Good luck!

I would say just slip the base of them and dry the base of the zoo off and put a dab of super glu gel them place to a rock....
