Does anyone have photographs (wild or in aquarium) have links to photos of a stripless A. melanopus?
I am not talking about A. ephippium. This is the one I am looking for. http://wish.wodonga.tafe.edu.au/~kwaldon/mel003.htm

Oohh..I have seen a pic before, very cool fish. I have always wanted to get my hands on a pair. I believe the picture was in Gerald and Fautins book...cannot remember though, I will try and find it.

Wow, nobody has any pictures. Well, I decided to take the risk of getting some ugly fish and ordered a pair. I'll post some pictures when I get them. :)

Although I don't understand the point of a stripeless clownfish, I am curious how they would look. To me a stripeless clown is called a "damsel" ;)

can't say that I have ever seen one other than the clown that ORA has.

This is not the same as ora's stripeless ocellaris.
This is a natural regional variant. Menanopus clowns from the coral sea do not have stripes. It is like the solid black ocellaris which are found in northern australia.
