what are some good ways to get coraline off of equipment. I know a razor works well on the glass but the powerheads and filters i dont want to scratch all up.

soak it in vinegar

Yup. Plain white distilled vinegar does wonders.

just stright white vinigar or dilute it down ? thanks for the reply.

I add white vinegar to some water and let soak. Then it scrubs off easily. I then rinse well with RO/DI water and it's PURDY!!!
