Does anyone have this fish in their reef, and if so is in peaceful towards your corals, Blennies, or Shrimp?

I have read that these guys can each shrimp and or terrorize lawnmower blennies.

Would you not recommend for a reef tank?

Thanks !!

I had one for a while. Ended up having to fish him out of there. Daughter was NOT happy that he attacked and killed the cleaner shrimp (picked it's eyeballs right out). As for "reef safe" I think they are, they just aren't small shrimp safe.

I've had my flame hawk for 3 years now. He's a riot. No problems. I do remember others posting some problems in past posts though. I guess they are hit-or-miss.

Very interesting fish. Daughter just wanted another cleaner shrimp. I think they are hit or miss. I know several people that keep them with no problems.

I had one that ate two of my cleaner shrimp and was very aggressive towards a six line wrasse I added to the tank. I would pass on this one if you intend on having small fish or shrimp.
