Do your filters have to be installed under the sink or can you simply attach it to the tap? I dont want to do plumbing (im 14 years old and i have no experiance nor do i know anyone with experiance) so i would like one that you can attach to a tap and turn on the tap and make RO water....

You can attach them to a sink faucet with a chrome faucet adaptor very easy look at our tap water page for fittings.

How difficult to install under the sink? Is this better than attach to the water faucet? Do I need a professional plumber to install it under the sink if it is better to do it permanently? Do I need to buy anything extra to install it under the sink? Please advise.

You should have a 3/8" shutoff valve under the sink where the faucet attaches to the valve. If that is the case it is very easy to attach a 3/8 x 3/8 x 1/4 compression fitting in for a water connection. Look on our water fittings page the valve is $10.

My system just arrived this week and realized that I have no way to connect it except under the sink. The home depot guy said they dont sell any valves with the 1/4" compression. So should I get this and run it in the middle of the supply line to my faucet? It looks like everything is threaded down there but this adapter isnt? How does this work?

Thanks for calling I think we covered it on the phone bad picture. This should go right inline between shutoff and the faucet supply line. Your experience with HD is just what I tell customers if you need a fitting come to us as in most cases you won't find them locally. Just packed the fitting and it will be shipped in the morning and excess shipping refunded.
