Wow thanks for all the kind words, I did not expect that kind of reaction.
Its a 20g high with a 20g high sump/fuge. Lots of flow, 150w DE MH lighting and ever so slightly skimmed. I run the fuge reverse of the tank and i grow chaeto in there with a DSB and a bunch more rock. Alk and cal is kept in check dripping limewater and i supplement mag by hand with a seachem product.
Im glad you guys and gals enjoyed the pics!

Mr hank,
its a sunpod fixture with a giesemann megachome blue bulb. I still wish i had atinics... I got the fixture for christmass, thats how i afforded it =-)
Current,
Its a Kodak easy share c875. Its 8mp but other than that i have to do alot of work to get a good pic with it, tripod helps alot and blocking all other light in the room.
I use a towel draped over my head and then set the camera on the timer, then i cover the edge of the tank all the way acrossed and drape the towel over me and the edge of the tank, then the camera is surrounded by towel and blocks out all reflection and light.
Thanks every body for the kind words. I put alot of work into the tanks and its cool to see that im not the only one that likes the results. My woman does not have a big interest in it so i never get to hear that it looks nice (without dragging it out of her).
The kids love it, i orderd wild cought fish (wich i had never done before) and they were here when the fish came in and they were naming the fish before i ever got them out of the bags. Kinda worried me because i did not know what to tell them if their "new" fish werent there anymore all of the sudden a few days later. I still have all the fish to this day so i guess i lucked out.

Here is the full system, the picture is old. The tank used to be SPS dominated but redbugs changed things. I seperated the sps for treatment and never put them back. I set up a larger tank dedicated to strictly SPS and built with them in mind. So now i run two systems but i have to say my softie tank is my favorite.

Its an odyssea ps-75. The only mod i made was to chop the riser tube down a bit. i want to mesh it but i dont even like cleaning it much less working on it. I will get around to it, i just dont see the need to overskim the softies.
The skimmer itself is complete junk, i built the sump to house that skimmer and its worthless. Their specs on water depth seem to be off or something cause it skimms much better the higher i keep the water on it, i dont see how it would ever work as a hang on skimmer. I tried a MJ-1200 on it for the pump and flodded my floor, it just blew water out of the top of the skimmer.

I think I saw what was misleading me... Your overflow runs down in front of the skimmer, I thought the PVC was some mod to your skimmer... lol :D I don't worry too much about overskimming my zoa tank either... ;)
