What type of ballast is this?

The wording on it is:
For high pressure sodium lamp or matal halide lamp with super imposed ignitor.

get the model # off of the ballast which is the white thing that says VS from what I can see it is 150watt ballast

Yes it is a 150W.

I'll get the model number, just need to open it again.

do you have a link? mine was electric and looked exactly the same, I wasnt aware they made magnetic ballasts

I guess maybe it does look different its hard to tell, it should fire the SE bulbs though

Burned do you know if it is pulse or probe start, It fires DE bulbs.
