Does anyone have a way of getting rid of this pest? It has taken over my tank. Joe's juice kind of works but I have toooo many and would never be able to get to all of them. File fish did not work. So now I have had a Copper Banded Butterfly for about 2 weeks. He likes Brine shrimp:p

only way I've got rid of them completely without taking drastic measures (I've boiled some rock before to get rid of them) was to turn off the lights and wrap the tank to keep all ambient light out for 8 weeks, the corals weren't to happy when i slowly brought the system back online but most survived where the mejanos didn't.

They are tough indeed to get rid of once they get a foot hold.

and they grow so fast. Try to remove them by hand with hot vinegar.

adding vinegar is not wise at all, with the number of them in a system in most cases you'd drive pH way to low.

Joes Juice works. Sometimes you need to hit them mutiple times
