TX5 riser brackets?

I recently ordered a set of TX5 riser brackers from PA to mount to my 36' fixture and when I finally got around to opening them today I am unsure as to how they should mount or I got the wrong that may be mounted on fixture that is not quite as wide.

Any help thta anyone could give would be appreciated. Would love to hear from someone thta has actually used these brackets. I have the feeling that what I actually received is for a fixture that is not quite as wide as the 5-light 36" fixture.

Mike, how much more narrow are the legs in regards to the fixture. sometimes they require a little "tweaking" to get them to fit as they get bounced around in shipment.

I would estimate them to be between 3/4-1" to short to fit the ends of the lights. Both brackets are the same and appear to be in good condition without any bends or breaks.

I wouldn't really feel comfortable bending them or tweaking them when I paid as much as I did for them.

Does Aquatinics make a bracket for a light that is not as wide as my 5-bulb 36" light? It looks to me that that is what I got.

Our MH/T5 classic fixtures use the same style bracket but is 8 1/2" wide instead of 9 1/2" wide. You can tell if you don't have the correct bracket by color and whole pattern. If the color doesn't match or the whole pattern then you most likely have our MH/T5 riser brackets. Another way to tell is look at your shipping invoice (if you have one). The part number for the TX5 riser brackets is AQ-B40. The part number for the MH/T5 Classic riser brackets is AQ-B30. It sounds like you have the AQ-B30. Please give us a call this week and we can figure out how the mix-up happened and get you out the correct set. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'll look around and get a picture taken, but they will look very similar. The best is to measure the bracket. If you are saying that the width of the bracket is around 8 1/2" wide and the paint texture is not the same as the TX5 fixture then it is most likely the wrong bracket. That one would be for MH/T5 Classic fixtures. Were you able to look at the shipping invoice to see what was listed as the part number?

The only invoice that I have is what was emailed to me from PA. The part number listed is AQ-B40. There was nothing in the box when I received it.

The finish on these brackets is a little more dull than the finish on the light. I will give you call here soon.

The shipping invoice would be on the outside of the box in a pouch. I am almost 100% sure you have AQ-B30 (MH/T5 riser brackets). Please give our office a call and we will work to exchange the risers.
