Shipping corals to florida..Is it OK?

I was thinking of buying some corals from RC members in the selling fourm but Im a bit scared!

Is it Ok to ship SPS in this heat. I would think California to FLA or MY to FLA is hard on stonies\

Anyone done this before?

Most of the overnight companies are just that - overnight. You can always ask that it be held at you local depot so that you can pick it up in the a.m. That keeps the frags from riding around all day in a hot truck. I just brought a cooler full of frags back from S. Fla. and had not trouble, but it was my very own overnight delivery....

They are usually shipped with coldpacks.
