I have a 20g tank. No skimmer. I was wondering If I need to buy any supplements to make my liverock/coral thrive. Is there test kits?

That article covers all the water parameters and the need for supplementation. Most tanks need calcium and alkalinity regularly, usually daily, and magnesium from time to time. I test those three parameters, plus pH, temperature, and salinity (SG) regularly.
