I am interested in using the coral pegging method for mounting frags, but I have two questions:

1. My tank has been set up for 2 years...will I cause a mini cycle by removing live rock pieces to drill them and returning them to the tank?

2. Can someone provide me a link to buy the hard airline tubing online? I have been searching and I cannot find it.

here is a good link of how to do it. www.reefvideos.com and you can buy the rigid air tubing at a hobby store that has rc cars, boats and planes.

As for your questions, I dont think it will cause a cycle when you remove your rocks. You will have them out of water for a few moments, this short of a time frame should not kill anything.

Thanks for the response. Do you happen to know of any online stores that might sell it?

I did a quick search with no luck. I would ask www.mjmods.com as he sells components to his mod that I think might work. Also, I would ask your question in this thread.... http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=3

most LFS should carry it. I bought 30' of small pieces for $2. I love the pegging method. It is nice to be able to use vertical space and I think it makes things look more natural and less placed.
