I am able to see my ACIII via the telnet system (putting in the IP address into web browser address bar, bypassing AquaNotes), so I am clearly "into" it. However, there does not seem to be any place on the interface for entering the letter commands talked about in the manual. How do I do this?

actually, this question may be moot. it appears that the interface allows me to do what the commands do. I guess the interface is updated (via latest firmware?) as compared to the manual. (the only thing it appears I can't do from the current telnet interface is reset the data log.)

Most folks will use the web interface (http - not telnet) to configure the AquaController, see the current status, etc. Telnet is a textual interface which is mainly used by AquaNotes to communicate w/ the controller. You can access the telnet interface by typing 'telnet 192.168.1.50' into the start->run command box, and then logging into the controller.
