Question about White Things Hanging On My Tank

Hello All! Yesterday I noticed what I can only describe as tiny white hair strands sticking to one side of my marine tank. I knocked them off and did a 20% water change even though my water tested fine. Does anyone have an idea what they could be? I did also notice my 2 flame scallops right underneath them. I want to mention there were 5-10 of them sticking on the tank.
