Getting a new Cannon 5D this month and want to get Photoshop as well (limited prior use) I have both Mac and PC. My daughter uses Photshop LE for her school yearbook on PC but has Apple notebook. We have both laptops and PC Desktops. I sort these into Apple for art type workings but PC for Business. Is there a benefit of one platform over the other? Add-ons?

The application is virtually identical on both platforms. Apple has a more mature color management system but the days of "Apple for art type workings but PC for Business" are long past. Use whichever works best for you.

My workflow starts here (http://www.apple.com/aperture/) so a PC isn't that useful to me.

I prefer darker but that'd do in a pinch as long as it's cold. :D

This is like...Nikon or Canon ?!

Canon & Apple are actually business partners , aren't they ?
