I am thinking about using a cooler running pump on my return during the summer months. I currently use a T4.
Does anyone have experiance with this pump?
Thanks

The Mak4 is air cooled and wont add heat like the water cooled T4 does. I use one as a basement return and it works well. Not the quietest pump, but it is pushing 10' vertical. I think it would be quieter without so much head.

Thanks Scott,
Figured I would use the T4 for cooler months.

Hi Tony. Hope all is well. If you didn't notice, I also upgraded to a 180G. The Mak4 will have a lot of flow without the 10' of head. I even have some of mine split off to the fuge and it is plenty. Its a great bang for the $ pump.

Thanks for asking Scott, everything's going great. and I have been following your progress and using some of your expert advise that you post in severial forums.:)
Yes, I will be directing some flow to the fuge as well. 100% of the flow will go through the chiller first.
Thanks for your help

Yup. I wouldn't want it in my living room. Did I say I love my basement sump setup?
