I have two puffers a butterfly and a moorish idol in a 125. Setting up a much bigger tank now. One of the puffers and moorish idol will move to bigger tank. But the butterfly and idol always swim together and seem very happy with each other. Plus whenever i put in a new food, the idol always gets scared to eat it until he sees the butterfly eat it first and only then will he try a new food.
I would rather keep the butterfly in the smaller tank because he is the only fish I have ever kept that does NOT pick on my panda puffer, which is very important cause every fish always beat up on him.
So who do I break up?
While we are on the subject how is this stocking for a 220 gallon:
Porcupine puffer
Moorish Idol
Emperor Angel
Sailfin Tang
Butterflyfish
is it too crowded?
